Le projet TERRISCOPE, cofinancé par le Fonds européen de développement régional (FEDER) et la région Occitanie, a permis de développer une plate-forme de recherche de télédétection aérienne permettant de surveiller l’environnement.
BOREAL SAS a fourni à l’ONERA 4 drones intégrant des charges utiles innovantes (LIDAR et camera hyperspectrale) pour le développement d’une plate-forme aéroportée. Dotée de capteurs optiques, elle se destine à l’étude de l’environnement et des territoires survolés, ce qui se révèle utile pour plusieurs domaines tels que l’agriculture ou la surveillance d’infrastructures.
Du côté de M3 SYSTEMS, la société soeur de BOREAL SAS, a été développé une solution de collecte de données, apportant ainsi une solution additionnelle et complémentaire aux drones BOREAL.
Deux autres industriels ont également participé à ce projet : SOFRADIR (désormais LYNRED) et LEOSPHERE.
La plate-forme TERRISCOPE est désormais disponible pour mener de nombreuses activités de recherche en télédétection. C’est donc dans ce contexte que la société BOREAL était présente à l’inauguration de la plateforme TERRISCOPE ce vendredi 29 novembre à l’ONERA.

BOREAL was at the inauguration of the TERRISCOPE project
The TERRISCOPE project, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Occitanie region, is developing an aerial remote sensing research platform.
BOREAL SAS supplied, to ONERA, 4 drones with innovative payloads (LIDAR and hyperspectral camera) for the development of an airborne platform. Equipped with optical sensors, UAVs are dedicated to study environments, which can be useful for agriculture application or infrastructure monitoring for example.
M3 SYSTEMS, the second Mistral group company, developed a data collection solution able to provide an additional and complementary solution to BOREAL drones.
Two other manufacturers also took part in this project: SOFRADIR (now LYNRED) and LEOSPHERE.
The TERRISCOPE platform is now available for many remote sensing research activities.
It is in this context that the company BOREAL was present at the inauguration of TERRISCOPE platform this Friday 29 November at ONERA.
